seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a busy
emergency department in Hot Springs, AR. This is a high-volume, fast-paced
environment offering a variety of shift options and consistent monthly hours,
ideal for physicians experienced in managing a wide range of acute and
traumatic conditions.

- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Practice
Setting
- Hospital-based emergency

Clinical
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat
patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform a wide range of emergency
procedures including:
- Reductions
- Cardioversions
- Moderate sedation
- Laceration repair
- Chest tube placement
- Intubations
- Central line placement
- Manage traumatic injuries and
medical emergencies
- Interpret EKGs and diagnostic
studies
- Determine patient disposition
(admit, discharge, transfer)
- Maintain accurate and timely
documentation
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
in Emergency Medicine
- Active Arkansas medical license
(or ability to obtain)
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
certifications preferred
- DEA required
