Hybrid Director of Information Technology

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of IT to lead and execute technology operations across multiple healthcare facilities in the Atlanta metro area. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, driving successful IT initiatives, and aligning technology with clinical workflows and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare IT expertise, leadership capability, and a willingness to engage at both strategic and operational levels. Must be on-site 2-3 days per week.

The Director of IT will oversee multi-site infrastructure, EHR systems, and IT operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This leader will partner closely with clinical, operational, and executive teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient technology solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $120,000 - $150,000 plus 10% bonus

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in healthcare
• Direct experience with Athena EHR administration required
• Proven track record with EHR/EMR operations and system implementations
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare IT compliance standards
• Experience managing multi-site IT infrastructure and operations
• Demonstrated success in vendor management and contract negotiations
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM frameworks
• PMP, ITIL, CISSP, HCISPP, and/or relevant cloud certifications
