A
healthcare facility in Twin Falls is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible
Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician to provide high-quality care in a Level III
trauma center. This role offers the opportunity to treat a wide range of
traumatic orthopedic injuries while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care
team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.
The
Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon will evaluate and manage patients with acute
musculoskeletal injuries in both inpatient and emergency settings. The
physician will perform operative and non-operative treatments while working
closely with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, and surgical support
teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and
treat patients with traumatic orthopedic injuries in a Level III trauma
center
- Perform operative
and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
- Provide consultations
for emergency department and inpatient cases
- Participate in trauma
call coverage as part of the orthopedic team
- Collaborate with
a multidisciplinary team, including emergency medicine, trauma surgeons,
and advanced practice providers
- Maintain
accurate documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and
quality care
Qualifications
- Board Certified
or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship
training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred
- Eligible for Idaho
medical licensure
- Strong clinical
judgment and ability to manage complex trauma cases
- Excellent
communication and teamwork skills
