Locums Hospital Medicine Physician- Site Medical Director

We are seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician for a locums Site Medical Director assignment, to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight at a facility in Dublin, GA. This role combines patient care responsibilities with administrative leadership to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered services.

Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for the provider team
• Partner with scheduling to manage coverage and address open shifts
• Assist in resolving provider performance or conflict issues as they arise
• Collaborate with the recruiting team to interview and staff full-time providers
• Support onboarding and mentorship of new team members
• Partner closely with on-site facility leadership, including the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
• Monitor and help drive performance metrics including:
• Length of stay (LOS)
• Patient satisfaction
• Provider retention
• Budget adherence and operational standards

Clinical Responsibilities

• Maintain active clinical responsibilities as part of the provider team
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and organizational standards
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician
• Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Prior leadership or medical director experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hospital administration and clinical teams
