or Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for locum tenens
coverage in Midlothian, Virginia. This position supports a high-volume MFM
practice with a strong focus on high-risk pregnancies, providing both clinic
and inpatient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide
comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric patients in office and
inpatient settings
- Perform
consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and longitudinal management of
complex maternal and fetal conditions
- Collaborate
with OB/GYNs, neonatology, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate
in call coverage for urgent and emergent MFM needs
- Ensure
accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

- Management
of high-risk conditions including:
- Pre-eclampsia and hypertension
- Multiple gestations
- Fetal growth restriction
- Chromosomal, congenital, and genetic
abnormalities
- Pre-term labor
- Thrombophilia and genetic disorders
- Birth defects and complex
maternal/fetal comorbidities
- Experience
with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in high-risk settings
Qualifications
- Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Completion
of an accredited MFM fellowship
- Active
Virginia medical license
- BLS
certification
- AIUM
certification
