Locums Hospitalist Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician to provide locum coverage in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. This opportunity offers a flexible and rewarding schedule while working in a collaborative hospital environment.

Shift Details:

·         12-hour shifts with rotating call

·         Schedule requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends

·         Preferred commitment: 7 consecutive shifts, ideally 2 weeks per month

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, discharges, and acute care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system 

Requirements:

• Board Certification in ABIM or Family Medicine
• Active Alaska license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Flexibility with scheduling, including nights and weekends
• Recent hospitalist experience preferred
