We are seeking a reliable and professional Front
Desk Coordinator to manage front-of-house operations, oversee security
coordination, and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate is
organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a
fast-paced environment. This role is essential to maintaining a welcoming and
secure atmosphere at our NYC facility.
Compensation: $20-24
Per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist all visitors at the front
desk
- Verify visitor clearance, issue temporary
badges, and maintain the visitor log
- Ensure employees entering the premises are
properly identified with ID badges
- Route participant concerns to the
appropriate departments and escalate complaints to A&G promptly
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, take
messages, and email staff accordingly
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and
packages
- Page staff and make emergency overhead
announcements when necessary
- Conduct regular perimeter checks to ensure
security of entrances
- Monitor security camera feeds and report
concerns
- Maintain order and safety procedures during
emergency situations
- Manage parking usage at locations with
dedicated parking areas
- Provide lunch coverage for Transportation
Coordinator role and assist with basic transportation calls when needed
- Provide occasional support to other regional sites as needed
Qualifications:
- Bengali speaking required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience as a receptionist and/or in a security role preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic
email systems
- Must pass a typing test (40–45 WPM with 90%+
accuracy)
