We are seeking a Board-Certified
or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our high-performing Orthopedic
Trauma Program in San Jose, CA. Located within a busy Level II Trauma Center,
our program processes approximately 600 trauma cases annually, offering a
challenging and rewarding environment for dedicated trauma surgeons.
Position Highlights:
- Trauma Level: II
- Case Volume: ~600 orthopedic
trauma cases per year
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
surgical care and outpatient clinic follow-up
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert surgical care for orthopedic
trauma patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
- Participate in inpatient rounding,
consults, surgical interventions, and post-op care
- Conduct follow-up care in the orthopedic
trauma clinic
- Engage in quality improvement and
contribute to program development alongside VMC
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of Orthopedic Surgery
Residency
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Orthopedic Surgery
- California medical license (active or
eligible for licensure)
