Locums Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking an experienced and flexible Locums Urgent Care Physician to join our team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Providers will rotate between multiple urgent care sites, all within a 30-mile radius of Pittsburgh. This position involves treating patients of all ages with non-life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Full-Time: 12+ shifts per month
• Part-Time: 6+ shifts per month
• Minimum availability required: 3 shifts per month consistently 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat cold/flu symptoms, rashes, sprains, abrasions, minor burns, lacerations
• Perform procedures such as splinting, wound care, I&Ds, drawing blood, X-rays, and EKGs
• Refer high-acuity cases to nearby emergency departments
• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages
• Travel between urgent care sites (all within 30 miles) 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience OR 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
• Proficient in orthopedic procedures (e.g., splinting) and wound care
• Must be able to work
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA
• Board Certified; Active Pennsylvania license required
