Locums Interventional Radiology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage at a leading medical facility in Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate will have experience in general interventional radiology and the ability to interpret vascular imaging studies (CTA/MRA). This is a high-volume IR assignment with weekday shifts and optional call coverage.

 

Assignment Details:

 

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call Requirements:
• Optional weekday call (5:00 PM–8:00 AM)
• Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM (24/7)
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed 

Scope of Work:

 

• General inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology procedures
• Procedure add-ons as needed
• No outpatient clinic or outpatient-based procedures
• 5–7 procedures per day
• Approximately 25 procedures per week 

Anticipated Procedures:

 

·         Venous access

·         Biopsies

·         Drainages

·         Organ access

·         Embolization

·         Thrombectomy/Thrombolysis

·         Hepatobiliary/portal interventions

·         Preferred: Full range of general IR procedures listed above

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active VT medical license (or willing to obtain)
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Proficiency in CTA/MRA vascular interpretation
• Experience with both routine and complex IR procedures
