We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate
Director of Nursing (ADN) to provide administrative and clinical leadership
during off shifts, weekends, and holidays at our Brooklyn-based medical center.
The ADN serves as the on-site nursing executive during non-standard hours,
assuming full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of safe,
high-quality, and compassionate patient care.
Compensation: 128,750.00 - $143,250.00 Per Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and
leadership for all nursing units and services during off-shift hours
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels
and reallocation of resources to meet patient care demands
- Oversee critical incident response,
patient care escalations, and service recovery activities
- Support staff with clinical
decision-making, conflict resolution, and patient/family concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, unit
leaders, and ancillary departments to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor adherence to hospital
policies, regulatory standards, and quality/safety guidelines
- Facilitate seamless communication
between off-shift staff and nursing leadership/administration
- Participate in performance
improvement initiatives and provide real-time coaching to staff
- Serve as an on-site representative of Nursing Leadership, making timely decisions that uphold patient safety and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Current and valid New York State RN
license
- Minimum of three (3) years of
nursing experience
- Prior nursing leadership or
supervisory experience
- BCLS/ACLS certification
