We are
seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgery Physician to provide 24/7
coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Salem, VA. This is a locums opportunity
to support a growing cardiovascular surgery program with a volume of
approximately 100 hearts per year, with the potential to increase to 250–300
annually.
This
role includes both onsite care and call coverage, and the ideal candidate will
have strong valve surgery skills and experience working in a hospital-based
setting. Experience with TAVR procedures is a plus, as the facility maintains
an active TAVR program.

Requirements:
- Board Certification in
Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Active Virginia medical license
(or willingness to obtain; temporary privileges available)
- Proficiency in valve procedures
highly preferred
- TAVR experience is a plus, but
not required
